Researchers at Michigan State University have found a novel way to help save the bee population. They’ve trained Maple, a former police dog who helped find missing people, to sniff out American Foul Brood!

A dog in Michigan has been specially trained to sniff out a bacteria that destroys beehives, which could help with bee preservation worldwide. Nearly 10-year-old Maple has been trained by researchers at Michigan State University and even wears her own bee suit.
