Carcass quality and good temperaments are a must when raising your beef alongside your kids.

This year Zach Théroux chose a homegrown steer he named “Gary”. He is off of an Anchor D Ranch Simmentals Magic Train daughter that is quick finishing, well muscled, but also beautifully quiet. He has been shown in multiple SC showmanship splits this morning and is still happy to be here.

AMT 21M is Homestead-T Magnus. A deep cherry red Fullblood with a great haircoat, wide topped and deep flanked. For her second calf, his mama did very well. She is a very feminine, clean-fronted young cow. 21M's EPDs predict that his daughters will be great, with a milk EPD of 39 (top 2% of the breed) and his Maternal Weaning Weight in the top 5%.

AMT 16M is Homestead-T Merlin. This solid red horned Fullblood is very unique. Quiet tempered, wide topped, and well muscled, he's been a fan favorite all year. His EPDs lean toward growth and power, but his heifers should milk well and breed early like his dam and granddam.

This fullblood is one of the longest bulls in our offering, and combines calving ease genetics with growth.
