When a mother in law welcomes her new bride .
I've never done a "welcome to the family" cake before so this was super special cake for me to do and the thoughtful detail my client asked me to put into the cake made me think how blessed this new bride must be mashallah. May all brides and grooms find loving second families to add to their existing families Ameen .

What is your favourite event of a desi wedding ? I was asked to do a dholki cake by a lovely client for a dholki she was hosting. I was given a design that I was allowed to improvise on . This came straight from my desi roots. The textures , the details , the burst of colours of our south Asian weddings ...they all just speak to me and this cake just brings it all out . The song and dance , the laughter , family, and the work that goes into our events , all of it .... sigh such nostalgia. I hope you guys enjoy looking at this just as much as I had fun making it .

This all Buttercream cake was really fun to do . I've really started enjoying how versatile a medium buttercream is and it's been fun experimenting with decore and florals . A two teired graduation beauty finished with beautiful fresh florals.As always

I was commissioned to do this cake by the lovely Ruma for her inlaws 50th anniversary. I was given complete freedom to do as I please as far as the design was concerned as long as it incooperated a bride and groom . These are the types of designs I absolutely love doing where even I don't know at times what the end product looks like. Although the rainy day interfered with my photography skills which are already pretty basic , I'm still deciding to post these as I loved how this cake turned out .
