We hope all the Dad's had an amazing Father's Day! This happened on the farm!!

Lana had her baby at day 381(ish) and popped out a little girl weighing 15.61lbs. We named her RAAF ZINNIA in line with our flower theme this year!!

I am having a very proud "me" moment right now.

6.5yrs ago we purchased our first alpacas. Tonight, I just labeled yarn from our BIGGEST mill batch yet and it is ONLY from our Rose Grey animals. I have about 6-8 of them. I received over 300 skeins of yarn from those animals!!! And yes, it was expensive to mill!! But over 300 skeins!! A HUGE thank you to Grand Valley Fibre Company for doing exactly what I had in mind.

My proud moment...I tried to breed for that color and was successful!! I will continue to breed for more rose greys. I LOVE the yarn the mill produced and it bring me joy to hold each skein. It is soft, luxurious and lovingly grown by our animals which get the most love and care from us and our visitors.

The photos don't do this yarn justice at all. You need to see it in person. Feel it. Wear it.

This is the first of several different kinds and color of yarn we got. We sell them for $35/skein. A LOT of work went into getting this yarn to you and we are so incredibly proud to say it its our yarn! Below are a few of the animals in the rose grey yarn batch!

We appreciate our visitors, and usually don't have an issue, however, we do get the odd folks who meander onto our property to see the animals. Please respect our farm and property and come when you are booked!

Dahlia has had a fabulous first day and she is learning her legs! I am loving her strength and her fleece is showing some promise! I just love her coloring!!
