BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
This year we are trying something new. We will be beta testing a CSA Food Box program!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It's goal is to allow people to invest in food systems and support local small scale producers to encourage food sovereignty. Keep your food dollars local and get high quality, chemical free food in return.
For this year, we are capping the program at 10 customers to ensure we can delivery high-quality boxes as we scale our farm. We are opening this to residents in Ogema, Pangman, Bengough and will have a pick up option for anyone else interested from farther away.
How it works:
- Produce boxes will be delivered every Sunday for 13 weeks. Dates are June 30th-Sept 27th. (One week off early August for baby!)
- Boxes will contain greens, salad mixes, seasonal veg like radish, kholrabi, carrots, cucumbers, peas etc. as well as fresh fruit like strawberries, saskatoons, and sour Cherries.
- Some boxes will feature products grown by other local producers to support their operations. Some will even contain things like jellies and jams!
Its $35/box, and we are asking for a 50% deposit up front to reserve your spot ($227.50). This deposit helps offset start up costs and helps us determine how much to plant. It also ensures both parties are committed.
