September is here, and the fall/winter feeding season is right around the corner!

With our production ramping up as we head into the busy season, we strongly encourage anyone interested in booking quantities for this fall/winter to reach out as soon as possible.

We can always take early orders off our list if feeding plans change, but we can't always guarantee volume on late orders!

Our 1/2" pellet production run is currently scheduled to begin in early October, so to reiterate—please reach out early to secure your order!

Today we started our summer production run of 1/2" pellets!

If you are thinking about placing an order for the larger pellets, please reach out as soon as possible. Once we've completed all outstanding orders, we will be switching production back to 1/4" pellets and won't be running on 1/2" pellets again until October.

These larger pellets are fantastic for ground feeding and will reduce waste compared to smaller pellets or grain.

Heading into June, things have been moving steady around the yard between seeding, grain processing, and pellet production!

We are now aiming to begin our next 1/2” pellet production run at the start of July. The larger pellet size is a great option for pasture supplementation and helping reduce ground-feeding waste.

Our 14% Range Pellet works excellent as a pasture extender when grass quality is still holding fairly well, while the 20% Range Pellet is better suited for getting more out of dry, low-quality pasture conditions where additional protein and supplementation are needed.

If you’re looking to secure tonnage from this run, reach out early as production space will be limited!

With spring finally here, now is a great time to start thinking about creep feeding.

A higher-protein, palatable creep feed helps drive early intake, support frame growth, and take pressure off the cow when it matters most.

For bull calves, it can make a real difference too. Better nutrition early on supports scrotal development, with research showing 20-30% more development compared to lower-nutrition programs.

The sooner calves get on feed:
• Smoother weaning
• Fewer health issues and setbacks post-weaning
• Easier transition into the next phase

Good creep feed isn’t just an added cost; it’s a head start that pays back later.
