Well….. we kind of did a thing. Thanks to our little visitors from Cedar Cluck Homestead we fell in love with the Kune Kune pig and needed to get our own. Huge thank you to Linzie Wensink & Ken at Besa Acres for lending us their trailer to pick up these little cuties. Welcome, Mr Kevin, Edith and little Penelope (named after our visitor as she very much acts the same way)

Got a message from a local riding academy that they had a colony of bees living in one of their cabins. Instead of exterminating them they gave us a shout and we now have a new hive to add to the yard.

Finally after 2 months of no rain it rained all night long! Long evening in the garden and she did not fail us. Shockingly we even managed to pick 5 big heads of broccoli.
