Stony Mountain Farm A little ranch in the South Cariboo selling at farmers markets from the Cariboo to lower mainland

Stony Mountain Farm is a small-scale farm which was born in the picturesque Squamish Valley back in 2008. In summer of 2021, we relocated to our new ranch in Buffalo Creek BC approx 20 minutes north/east of 100 Mile House. We raise a small flock of laying hens for eggs, farrow to finish heritage pork, heritage chicken and holiday turkeys during the warmer months. We also have a growing herd of Icelandic sheep with lamb, fibre and pelts planned to be available in the future. All our animals are raised on pasture or a combination of pasture and woodland and fed certified organic or non-gmo feed made locally. In summer 2022 we will be producing our own hay and hope to produce some of our own grains in the future. Our belief in whole animal butchery lead to the development of lard based soap made by Tracy as well as our prepared foods line made by Salt and Thyme in Langley. You can find our products either via our online shop www.localline.ca/stony-mountain-farm and at farmers markets throughout the sea to sky corridor (Squamish and Pemberton) and the lower mainland.

This Friday we’re wrapping up our season at the South Cariboo Farmers Market. Find me in downtown 100 Mile House from 9-2 for the last market of the year with so much goodness for Thanksgiving or just come stock up!!!! But don’t forget you can still order online throughout the winter 😉

Then Saturday we’ll be heading to the coast for markets and you can find us Saturday at👇🏻

This season of markets has flown by and I thought I’d reshare how my season started……at Trout Lake with a bottle lamb 🐑

Just a few short months until lambs start arriving again……

Also don’t forget our coastal markets continue until end of the month and we’ll move to our winter locations in November. We’re at Riley Park weekly until Christmas and Kits once every 3 weeks

In addition to our delicious lamb we’ll have fresh pasture raised eggs, pasture raised whole chickens and assorted cuts, assorted heritage pork cuts and sausages, lard based soaps PLUS chicken pot pie, spinach and ricotta lasagna and bolognese sauce both made with our ground pork

And I apologize this is the first time I was unable to upload our lamb onto the online shop first for preordering. Time was just not on my side this week but we have lots of everything available 😊
