Did you know that cold crops (peas, kale, spinach, broccoli, lettuce etc...) can be direct-sowed into the garden as soon as the snow is melted and the soil is thawed and workable?

Here is a simple test to tell if your soil is ready!

We may still be under a foot of snow but by this time next month we will have our hands in the garden 😀
