Ancy's Kerala Kitchen

Ancy's Kerala Kitchen Serving care in every bite - from soft chapatis to soulful snacks. Hi, I’m Ancy. I’m not a chef or a professional cook. Thank you for being here.

I’m a Malayalee by roots, born and raised in central India, where I grew up with the flavors of North Indian food. Over time, I also fell in love with the simple, traditional taste of Kerala dishes, the kind my grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law lovingly prepared. I’ve just started this small journey from home, making chapatis and a few Kerala snacks on an order basis. There’s no commercial se

tup, just a humble kitchen and a lot of love. My children enjoy my food, and that gave me the courage to share it with others. I’ve registered the name Ancy’s Kerala Kitchen with the hope that, if God wills, one day, I may have a small space to serve more people. For now, this page is just a little corner where I share the taste of home.

Our food comes from the way we grew up eating at home, simple cooking, real ingredients, and the kind of everyday care our mothers taught us.

This weekend, a generous order of Pazhamporis, Egg Puffs, and Chicken Tikka Masala went out from our little kitchen.

Kerala in the snacks, North India in the curry --- a small reflection of our own story on a plate.

We are grateful to Rinu and Jithin for letting our homely flavours be part of their weekend.

From our kitchen to yours, with warmth.

Some things never change, they just remind you of home.
Our Pazhamporis are still made the same way: ripe plantains sliced by hand, dipped in a light batter, and fried till they turn soft golden yellow.
It’s the taste of comfort, the smell of evenings back home, and the feeling that some memories are meant to stay fresh.

Today we received a message from someone in Buffalo asking if we have a branch there.

We are still cooking from our small home kitchen in Oshawa, making simple homely Kerala food fresh on order…...... so seeing our little kitchen reach this far truly touched our heart.
It feels like a blessing to know that something we started from home, with simple love and simple ingredients, is being appreciated by so many.

Grateful for all the support.

Ancy’s Beef Cutlets are made the way our moms and grandmas taught us, slow, patient, and with real care.
The beef is cooked gently with Kerala spices, shaped by hand, and coated in our own homemade breadcrumbs… made fresh in our kitchen, never from a packet.

There are no shortcuts here.
No artificial colours, no preservatives, nothing commercial.
Just honest, handcrafted food full of warmth, tradition, and the purity we grew up with.

Some trays feel connected to our kitchen in a quiet, steady way.

Today’s Pazhamporis were one of those warm, simple, and made with the same care we have carried from day one.

There is a certain ease in cooking for someone who has been part of our journey for a while now… someone whose trust has grown naturally with time. That feeling showed up again today.

Thanks to Lijo, who has become a familiar part of our kitchen without ever needing to say much.

Today morning’s order felt special in a quiet way.

A tray of Beef Cutlets, a few Pazhamporis, packed with the same care that has carried our kitchen from the beginning.

There’s something nice about cooking for someone who notices the little things… who sees the repeat orders, asks what’s good for home, and chooses with thought.

It reminds us that food isn’t just about taste, it is about trust, kindness, and the people who make our kitchen feel like family.

We are grateful for that feeling today, and for Sudeep, whose steady warmth and quiet encouragement have already become part of our kitchen’s story.

Some people quietly become part of our kitchen’s journey.
Not because of anything big… but through the gentle way they trust our food, again and again.

Today we prepared Chicken Stew, Beef Cutlets, and a small bowl of Onion Salad with that same calm, homely care, the kind that comes when you cook for someone whose kindness has touched our little kitchen more than once. There’s a different kind of gratitude in moments like this… a soft reminder that our small kitchen is growing because of hearts that stay connected to us in their own simple way.

Thank you, Reeni.
