It's the culmination of Mohan Gill's dream to open a vineyard and estate winery. We’re nestled in the heart of Osoyoos, a border town that has long been celebrated for rich soil and brilliant sunshine. We’re a new generation winery that strives to showcase the distinct regional characters of Osoyoos fruit. We’ve made our home in Osoyoos, a winegrowing region that provides us with the diversity to grow 14 varietals in unique growing conditions. Coupled with Osoyoos’ extended days of heat and sunshine, we think we have wine growing Nirvana. Each spring, our majestic winery comes alive with gorgeous blossoms, brilliant foliage, and the distinctive hues of individual fruits. Our wines are made in the new state-of-the-art winery building, a 6500 square foot facility that features the wine cellar, crush pad and warehouse. Capping it off is our new tasting room that provides a gorgeous view of the vineyards and beautiful Osoyoos landscape. We invite you to visit us at Bordertown. 🍇 Harvest 2026 Starts Early at Bordertown 🍷

The first grapes are in—and Chardonnay is leading the way!

Harvest is getting an early start this year, and we’re excited to see another vintage taking shape.

From budbreak through veraison, Bordertown’s vineyards have remained healthy, and everything is pointing toward an incredible year. 🍇☀️

For Mohan, who has spent decades farming in the South Okanagan, the early start is a welcome sign:

“We’re very optimistic about this year’s crop. The vines are looking good, the fruit is developing nicely, and we’re excited about what we’re seeing in the vineyard. It’s always a little early to predict the vintage, but the signs are very encouraging.”

Behind the scenes, the Bordertown team is already hard at work.

We began picking Chardonnay, following our typical multi-stage harvest approach to capture layered flavours and bring each lot into the winery at its ideal balance of flavour, acidity and ripeness.

The team then moves to harvesting our whites. Next, we move into the first red picks for our 2026 Rosé. 🍷

We start with Pinot Noir and Merlot, before shifting gears to our flagship Cabernet Franc, followed by the rest of our red varietals.
Early mornings. Long days. Full bins. Lots of sorting, processing and careful winemaking—and plenty of excitement along the way.

This Sunday, August 23, our team, led by Paul Jordan, will be sharing our award-winning wines and Hard Pressed cider FarmFolk CityFolk 31st Annual Metro Vancouver Feast of Fields!

Feast of Fields is an annual wandering gourmet harvest festival and fundraiser hosted by the non-profit organization FarmFolk CityFolk. It celebrates British Columbia's local food system by connecting city residents with farmers, chefs, and food artisans.

Taking place at the beautiful UBC Farm, this much-loved farm-to-table celebration brings together some of the region’s finest chefs, farmers, food producers, wineries, cider makers, and other local food and beverage artisans.

Come enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of exceptional local food, award-winning BC wine, cider, and good company while celebrating the people who make our local food system so special. 🍷🍎🌾

We love celebrating food and meeting wonderful people and helping FarmFolk CityFolk raise funds at their flagship event!

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating fires in Summerland.

Thank you to the firefighters, first responders and pilots who are working in gruelling and dangerous conditions to control the fires for the sake of our lives and our communities.

THANK YOU! We see you and appreciate you and thank you for the incredible work you are doing. We are incredibly grateful for your long hours, your commitment and the risks you take to keep our communities safe.

Our thoughts go out to all who were impacted by the recent fire.
