My very first interview with CBC Radio included a question I’ll never forget:
“Do you regret leaving your job to start your business?”
My answer was honest—if there’s anything I might regret, it’s the time I couldn’t give my kids. There were moments I thought about quitting, but I knew I had to keep going to support my family.
Today feels different.
This weekend, my kids and I had so much fun searching for the Edible Ottawa magazine together. It turned into such a joyful memory. Hearing Ethan say, “I’m so proud of you, Mom. I love you. I want to run BanhMiYes when I grow up,” meant everything to me.
And I found myself wondering… maybe this is what success really looks like.
