We decided to take the youngest little ES2 to the KWPN - NA Keuring. At just 7 weeks old Wineberry ES2 (Notorio ES2 x Kannan x Palfrenier) was the youngest one there. Although in true Raisin fashion he exuded confidence as he led is mom up to the barn and into the arena with no fear. Enjoying every minute of exploring this new place.

We knew it was a gamble bringing such a young foal to the Keuring but he got some lovely complements from the judges on his movement and correct legs. Narrowly missing first premium by 1 point.

We are very casually starting the search for a new addition to our broodmare line up as a number of our girls retire. The ideal mare would be a 3 ring type with the ability to produce Hunters or Jumpers. Under 15 years old, if over 10 a solid performance record required. However, younger mares with impressive pedigrees preferred. Looking in NA at this time but will ship from anywhere for the right mare. Maidens welcome. Good conformation and personality are a top priority. Needs to be an improvement on our current line up. No colour preference but wouldn’t mind adding a grey to the mix.

I think one of my favourite parts of having foals is when they realize that people are fun. 🥰
