The heavy rain couldn't dampen the enthusiasm for the Chesterville Fair junior and open sheep shows. Thank you the Chesterville Fair board and local sponsors for hosting the show. Pictured are some of the Junior show Champions and jackpot winners receiving some of Travis Dow's hard earned cash!

A successful and fun first fair of the year in Russell! Thanks to Debbie Bennett and Lois James for organizing the day and to Cameron McGregor for all his positive comments on our breeding program. We are going to feature Three D Suffolks 9N the Champion Suffolk ram and Reserve Supreme! If you are looking for a ram with tremendous mass, bone, breed character and pedigree check this ram out. One of the final available direct descendants of Hunterdown breeding this ram has Hunterdown and Trilliam Woods on the dam side and Vandyke and Reau on the sire side of the pedigree. He anchored our flock along with the Supreme Champion ewe Three D Lass 4N. These yearlings were slick shorn eight weeks ago! Thanks to Courtney, Campbell, Kyle, and Olivia for all the show help.

Classic Southdown update at Three D! We added the Champion Southdown ram Super Duty Prime to our stud ram pen. We would like to thank Donald Cluney for consigning this deep bodied, super correct ram lamb that likes to show off his excellent Southdown breed character.

Our lead stud “Theodore” (Klug Limestone 21F-86) is leaving little doubt that he will continue to have a significant impact on the Canadian Southdown industry! We appreciate the interest that this ram has generated for our flock. While we will be adding his ewe lambs to our flock, we have a few impressive February ram lambs available. Theodore has added consistency in breed character along with length and thickness to our breeding program. Transportation can be arranged across Canada.
