The whole category of greener more sustainable wine has been very trendy in the last decade but what does it all mean? What makes a wine sustainable, organic, biodynamic, natural, or low intervention? And what do they taste like?

Long gone are the days of organic wine being synonymous with rustic, bad wine made by hippies. Now most of the world’s top wineries are organic or biodynamic and many of the world’s top restaurants have exclusively natural wine lists. Why? We’ll taste a selection of fantastic wines from around the world to highlight this production and you’ll have a good understanding of what all these things mean.

We’re all about the classics lately. New in the shop: L’Oratoire des Papes – Châteauneuf-du-Pape (2023 & 2024) 🍷
A benchmark expression of Châteauneuf, showcasing classic Rhône depth and elegance - ripe red and dark fruit, garrigue herbs, warming spice, and a smooth, structured finish. Rich yet beautifully balanced, these wines feel festive and comforting, making them perfect for the holiday season and long evenings around the table.

Our fridge is always stocked with the good stuff. The hard to find bottles for the friend you know loves wine, the reliable bottle of great Champagne, and simply some of easy bottles to drink this time of year if you’re rolling up to a holiday event🥂🎄
