Top Shelf Cakes I'm a home based baker residing in Perth On. I began blending my love for art and baking in 08 when I made a birthday cake for a close friend.

I love to create edible pieces of art and would love to add a special touch to your next event! A few years back I was lucky enough to discover my hidden passion for baking and designing cakes. I decided that I would surprise a good friend with an over-the-top, two tier Birthday cake made from scratch. I loved the feeling that came from seeing the finished product after hours of challenging work.

Right then and there I decided that I would turn this passion into a small business. Since then I’ve attended classes at Bonnie Gordon College in Toronto. I was fortunate enough to have shared a classroom with talented professionals who taught me about haute couture design, moulding edible flowers and proper baking/designing techniques. I enjoy getting to know people through this business and being able to share in their enthusiasm over event planning! Most of all I love the challenge that comes from creating a delicious work of art that will make your day that much brighter!
