Edamame is here!🫛

Fun fact: edamame is just soybeans, picked young and green before they mature. 

We love edamame, it's delicious, fun to eat, and just a genuinely good snack packed with protein and fiber.

Over a 24 hour period from Tuesday morning to Wednesday, we had almost 7 inches of rain fall at the farm, nearly double the monthly average.

What does this mean? We don't know yet. We can already see impacts in several crops.

We are gutted. Our team has worked so hard this year and crops were looking beautiful. The hardest part is that there is nothing we can do, despite our best efforts.

We want to be honest with you about the reality we are facing because you are part of our farm. Only time will tell the full impact. In the meantime we continue; we recalibrate, and we replant what we can. 

What can you do? You can keep supporting the farm by buying veggies online or at the Kanata Market on Saturdays.

Your support through the highs and lows is what keeps us going.

And we have so many types to get excited about... acorn squash, butternut squash, delicata, black futsu, buttercup, spaghetti squash, red kuri, and pie pumpkins, all organically grown locally here in North Augusta.
