This device can keep small sewer surges at bay, but if the seal is not a good one, water intrusion can occur.
They are definitely not an equivalent to an in-line sanitary sewer backwater valve.

If your toilet is rocking when you sit on it, we strongly suggest checking the fl**ge, seal and sub-floor.

If a rocking toilet is left too long, water leaks from the base into the flooring underneath and eventually causes the sub floor to rot and leak through the ceiling below.

Today is deemed as Star Trek Day as this is the day that the first episode ever was shown on TV in 1966, making it 60 years old !

The inspiration of this retro space travel gem for our radio ads and brand has been such great fun!

Today we had a team breakfast at High 5 sports bar to thank everyone for working so hard with the backwater valves and associated flooding jobs.
Kudos to our plumbers and apprentices for shifting lots of gravel and concrete and kudos to our fantastic office crew for booking homeowners in and processing the permits and RPPP paperwork!
(We highly recommend a permit!)
