Summer was a blast but this month is shaping up to be even better. Live music every weekend, weekly events, a couple of fresh beer releases to look forward to + two big events on the horizon.

🧠 TONIGHT — Trivia with Quizmaster Kevin Herman 6:30PM. Free. No reservations.
🐾 WEDNESDAY — Pups Pints and Patios, 5PM. $6 pints + free pup cups.
🎱 THURSDAY — Bingo Night, 6:30PM. Free.
🎸 FRIDAY — Mike Meunier in the taproom
🎸 SATURDAY — Paddy Paystub on stage

🌾 West Coast Pilsner - bright citrus, firm hop bitterness, crisp and clean. Jacob's farewell masterpiece.

174 Taproom Series: West Coast Pilsner is here. 🌾🍺

This one has a story.

Our brewer Jacob has been quietly cooking up something special. A West Coast Pilsner that breaks the mold a little. Bright golden, unfiltered for maximum flavour, and bursting with citrus aroma right from the first pour. Fruity and fresh upfront, firm hop bitterness that lingers all the way through, crisp and clean to the finish. At under 5% ABV it's dangerously sessionable.

48 IBUs of assertive hop character balanced against an initial fruity sweetness. Classic pilsner appearance. Anything but ordinary.

And here's the thing about Jacob. He's leaving us. And in true George Costanza fashion, he is going out on an absolute high. First full 174 batch. A damn fine beer. We couldn't be prouder.

Thanks for everything Jacob. We'll be drinking this one in your honour for weeks. 🍺

Proud doesn't even begin to cover it. 🍺

Last week we welcomed the team from Rogers Centre Ottawa to Broadhead for a brewery tour and chill and it was a great reminder of just how special this partnership is.

For years, we've been pouring at one of Ottawa's most iconic venues. Our NEIPA, Ottawa Wheat 26, Light Lager and Amber Ale are on tap at Rogers Centre Ottawa.

We are incredibly proud to be part of the Rogers Centre Ottawa experience and grateful for a partnership that keeps Ottawa's craft beer scene front and centre. 🧡
