When it has been raining all day, morale in the kennel needs a boost. Tonight’s supper for the chow chows: Pasture-raised chicken feet, chunks of wild venison, and cracked quail eggs drenched in grassfed quail broth- on a bed of 3 protein kibble - chicken, salmon, and lamb. Packing in the protein for our big-boned carnivores. 🐻

Fuego helping us check on the hazelnut seedlings we planted last year. We put 1300 nut trees in the ground - 1000 of which were hazelnuts. They were tiny little sticks. Many of the stems died over the winter but new growth came out the base or right next to it. Ryan continually combs the field ripping out weeds to help them establish. 🌰🌳

Back by popular request we are offering a limited number of subscriptions this summer. They will be properties bouquets rather than flower bunches. Additional bouquets will be available every few days in our upcoming farm store. Subscriptions are $140 for 8 bouquets. Flowers will be primarily dahlias, cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias, and stock.
