History:
The food Cupboard opened its doors in February 1994 and was located in the Orange Lodge at the corner of Victoria St. Due to financial constraint, the Food Cupboard moved to the basement of St John the Evangelist Church in Enniskerry on November 4, 1995. This is a rural community food bank servicing residents in need of food in the catchment area of the old Osgoode Township. Refer to t
he photo of the map. Clients must show proof they live in our catchment area. The Food Cupboard is supported by donations of canned/boxed, non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Working alongside community associations such as: the local Lions Clubs, schools and churches, volunteers ensure there is ample supplies in the food cupboard to meet the needs of the clients. This also includes purchasing food staples to replenish our shelves, co-ordinating food distribution and ensuring that the food is in the best before date. Food Cupboard Operating hours:
