The Shanties sing-along returns this Friday night!
Ottawa’s loudest choir of pirates, pub legends, and beautifully off-key deckhands will be taking over the BTP City Centre taproom once again.
Today, May 29, the Bytown Sea Shanty Collective sails back into the taproom for another night of booming choruses, raised glasses, and the kind of energy that turns strangers into crewmates by the second verse.
No tickets | No cover | No experience required.
Just show up thirsty and ready to sing. Whether you’re a seasoned sea dog with ten shanties memorised or someone who only knows the “WAY HEY” parts, you’re officially part of the crew. Lyrics will be projected, the beer will be flowing, and the room will slowly transform into a floating tavern somewhere deep in the Atlantic fog.
Expect:
- Thunderous sing-alongs.
- Fresh pints and proper grog.
- Surprise guests and musical chaos.
- One of the most fun nights you can have in Ottawa without boarding an actual ship.
Seats fill fast for these nights, so come early and claim your spot before the tide rolls in.
The first chorus erupts at 8PM.
See you there!
