We're bringing four BTP favourites to the big top. Ensuring you enjoy a flavour explosion with the show:

Summer may be winding down, but who said the fun has to?

As the days get a little shorter and the evenings start getting that “maybe I should bring a sweater” feeling, we’re bringing back two beers that know exactly how to handle it.

DARKNESS: A Beyond the Pale classic since day one. Rich chocolate malt, roasted barley, bold coffee, dark chocolate and just enough hops to keep things interesting.

We’ve got two stellar collaborations in the fridge, brewed with two of our favourite local friends:

Up first: Peacock. Our Premium Rice Lager brewed with . Light-bodied, exceptionally crisp and beautifully dry, with a clean finish that makes it dangerously easy to keep reaching for another. Built for vibrant food, festive gatherings, and generally having a very good time.

Then The Cat's Pilsner. A Czech Pilsner brewed with our good friends at . Crisp, light and refreshing, with a little earthy character to keep things interesting. Basically, all the easy-drinking charm of a light beer with considerably more personality.

Two local collaborations. Two very good reasons to fill the fridge.

The forecast may look questionable, but your fridge doesn't have to. Throw out the old milk and last week's leftovers. And make room for these two classics!

BREAKING BITTER | 5.3% - A Canadian-style bitter with the volume turned up. Rich, biscuity malt meets a generous dose of East Kent Goldings, bringing floral, grassy and citrusy hop character with a distinctly hop-forward finish.

ORANGE IS THE NEW PINK | 6.0% - The fan favourite is back and bringing the sunshine with it. Big, sweet orange aromas, a hint of berry, a hazy, fuller body, and a satisfyingly sweet finish. Basically, summer decided it wasn't ready to leave quietly.

Different beers. Same important message: stock up before the weather gets weird.

Grab a few cans for the fridge, clear some space, and let tomorrow's forecast do whatever it wants.

The BTP Bike ride returns for 2026, and if you want to roll up on September 27 wearing the 2026 BTP Bike Jersey, the clock is officially ticking.

60 km. One brewery. One excellent pub. One very good-looking jersey. And a $20 donation to Brain Canada.

We’ll head out from the brewery for roughly 60 km before rolling back into the taproom for lunch, a well-earned BTP pint and the inevitable debate over who had the best technique.

LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil is coming to Ottawa, and we're going along for the ride.

A waking dream of Mexico, brought to life through breathtaking acrobatics, light, water, music and some seriously surreal imagery.

45 performances. September 10 til October 18.

And we're bringing the beer. Clean Cut Kölsch and Yummy! NEIPA and Side Hustle Sodas will be pouring on-site throughout the run.

So come for the spectacle. Stay for the beer. We’ll see you under the big top.
