Bugs are buzzing, crawling, and fluttering all around the farm, and this week in the Kids’ Barn we’re celebrating all things BUGS! 🐞🦋🐛

Discover the fascinating world of insects through hands-on activities, sensory play, and bug-themed fun. From busy bees to beautiful butterflies, it’s a great opportunity for children to learn about the tiny creatures that help our gardens and farms thrive.

Each week in the Kids’ Barn we feature a NEW seasonal theme with hands-on activities, sensory tables, and farm-inspired fun for young visitors. This week’s theme is Bugs! 🐝

During your visit you can also:
🐑 Meet all the farm animals
🌾 Purchase animal feed for an up-close experience
🧚 Explore the Enchanted Forest Trail and discover fairy tales frozen in time
🏖️ Play in the sand pit and climb the hay
🧺 Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a day on the farm

🐑✂️ Sheep Shearing Day at The Log Farm! ✂️🐑

It only happens once a year, and you’re invited to see it up close!

Join us on Sunday, June 7th for our annual Sheep Shearing Demonstrations from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Watch as our sheep get their woolly winter coats removed and learn why shearing is such an important part of sheep care.

🧶 Wool and how it’s used
✂️ The shearing process
🌾 Life on the farm

Kids and adults alike are always amazed to see just how much wool comes off a single sheep!
