🇨🇳️ 🛫Welcome to Canada! 🛬 🇨🇦

We are happy to have the pleasure of welcoming an international student, Anmiao, to Ottawa and helping her get settled and comfortable in our city.

Anmiao flew from China and arrived in Ottawa at midnight, the following day, we took her on a rainy-day tour around our beautiful city to show her what Ottawa has to offer!

After experiencing some true Canadian weather (rainy and cold one minute, then hot and sunny the next) we helped Anmiao get her new phone plan all sorted out, allowing her to communicate with friends and family back home!

We hope you have an amazing semester here at Carleton, Anmiao!🎓

After being picked up at the airport, Debora experienced her first tour of the city and all its attractions accompanied by her agent. We had the pleasure of welcoming uOttawa’s newest international student, Valle Ruiz Fernández, at the airport yesterday, coming to study all the way from Spain!✈️🇪🇸
After weeks of communicating, organizing, and securing her a room in a lovely apartment near campus, Valle is finally beginning her new adventure in Canada and we are thrilled have been a part of her journey!
