I've always known that I have been undercharging our Halo Halo. Even customers have told me that it's too cheap. Halo Halos in this city cost between 10.99-15.00. We make our own ice cream, sauce and taffy for the walling, so our time is there as well. Some of you say it's the best Halo Halo you've had and that alone is enough for me but let's be honest, your girl needs to pay rent, and rent in the Byward Market isn't cheap. That's right! We have a brick and mortar in the effing Byward Market!!! This has been a dream for Chris and i, and as we approach our one year anniversary next Saturday, we hope to continue this journey while battling this economy. Prices for our supply keeps adjusting higher and higher as well. But seeing people happy with our desserts is truly special to me. In my fantasy world, that alone would be enough. Unfortunately we live in a world driven by money and profit, in order to survive, we too have to play the game. But remember, our end goal is to make so much money that Chris and I can rescue as many animals as we can!

We need to close early today and all day tomorrow in order to catch up on rest and on making ice cream and treats. We had a crazy weekend, and we are working on building a stronger team in order to accommodate proper customer service and efficiency on serving. It would also allow for Chris, Bren and myself to be able to catch up on creating our Sweet Puspin creations without compromising time on the floor and rest. Thank you kindly for understanding.
