We LOVE seeing what you do with our produce! Our super wonderful pal Anita Sweet Things From DeJong Acres was a canning machine with the cucumbers and jalapenos she got! 👏 🥒

We've been busy stocking the pantry for our lunches this winter! I've sorted through my jars and I could use 500 ml canning jars and standard rings if anyone has a stash in their cellar they wont be using. I do have seals and I have a million 250ml jam jars.(Id even trade if someone can use them, they just arent big enough for what I'm doing)

We have been quiet on here lately as we try and keep up with the season, the harvests, our family, and everything in between. First year in a long time it has just been the two of us juggling it all, as hard and wild as times have been at points, we are doing it and I couldn't imagine having a better partner in life to do with it! Leaving work in the fields isn't really an option for us, but we are finding time for our kids, for us, and still having fun and LOVE what we do so very much. So that, my friends, is how I know we are doing what we are meant to be doing, even on those hard days!

Thank YOU to our amazing community of friends, customers, and supporters for such a wonderful day, Owen Sound Farmers' Market

So many of you chose to shop at our table and skip the grocery store on Saturdays, and do we ever feel the love, support, and get motivated to always be growing by that. What we do takes a lot of hard work, time, and investment, but CSA/market days make it so worthwhile!

I promise you will taste and feel the difference of eating locally and organically grown food harvested fresh by us for you!

Tomorrow, we set off on our family adventure and will not be responding to messages, calls, or emails until we return next weekend. Thank you for being so supportive of our farm, family, and our well being, we are so darn excited to disconnect and just be together. A HUGE thank you to our amazing friends Andrea and Mark Andrea & Mark for making this possible and sharing their little piece of paradise with us!

First for everything!

This week, we will be celebrating 10 whole years as husband and wife and will be taking a week off, heading to Manitoullin Island with our boys to celebrate, be together, and de compress! If we don't find the time, it will never happen for these farmers!
Can hardly believe it will be a decade of marriage already, many more to.come ❤️

That means we will be at the Owen Sound Farmers' Market tomorrow, but we will be taking Saturday, August 15th, off from the market, which feels crazy to write! We will have a big bountiful table for you to stock up on tomorrow and will be back to our regular schedule on the following Saturday, the 22nd ✌️

Last week, we wrapped up the garlic harvest for 2026! It was the first year in a long time it was just the two of us harvesting, and it was a big one! Over 5,000 beautiful bulbs pulled and cured!

We grow a polish white variety that was a wedding gift to my in-laws from a polish neighbor nearly 45 years ago, and it is still going strong! We love this potent variety, and with the way it sells out each season, it seems you all do too!

Will be available for order small or bulk starting next week, friends!

Today is the day!

Come on out to the gardens from 10-2, the wood fired pizza oven is on, I made garden fresh salads and lavender/honey lemonade and baked up some scrumptious treats! We have the wonderful singing some tunes, and we will be leading a garden tour/walk through talking about how we grow and tips and tricks to bring home to your gardens! Our lovely resident gardener Bill will also be leading some tours to fill posey pots he makes with wild flowers and plants!

This is a community event, and this gorgeous spot would not be possible without our community and donations!
