Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastating impact of the hurricane in Jamaica. Many of our team members from Jamaica are still waiting to hear from loved ones back home. The uncertainty is heartbreaking, and our thoughts are with everyone affected.
In this difficult time, we are deeply grateful to Streef Produce Ltd. for stepping up and providing a disaster relief program to support Jamaica. Their quick action gives our community a tangible way to help and bring relief to those who need it most.

HURRICANE MELISSA - DISASTER RELIEF FOR JAMAICA

A devastating hurricane has severely impacted Jamaica, and support is urgently needed.

Through communication with the government of Jamaica and our foreign nationals, the Island's damage is profound, with reports indicating catastrophic flooding, numerous landslides, and massive infrastructural damage. Entire communities in Jamaica have been demolished.

"An estimated 400,000 people have been affected, with families displaced, homes destroyed, and livelihoods shattered. Now begins the hard road to recovery. Together, let’s stand ready to help families rebuild their homes, restore their lives, and bring hope back to our nation."

Any support toward Jamaica and the relief efforts is sincerely appreciated.

🌾 The celebration for Ontario Agriculture Week kicks off today! 🚜

This week is about recognizing the passion and commitment farmers put into raising livestock 🐄, tending orchards 🍎, planting fields 🌱, and harvesting crops 🌽.

It’s about tipping our cap to the truck drivers 🚛, millers, processors ⚙️, retailers, and chefs 👩‍🍳 who all play a role in moving food from farm to table 🍽️.

And it’s about showcasing the abundance of food, fibre, fuel and flowers produced right here at home 🇨🇦 .

Grateful for the incredible professional development opportunity we had to attend TOP of the CROPS - BASF | Nunhems demodagen 2025. We were able to explore new leek varieties, watch demos of new innovative planting equipment, and tour the impressive Nunhems headquarters where they test and process our seeds. A big thank you to our hosts for the valuable insights and warm hospitality!
