Family owned since May 2025 every plate is crafted with care, quality and a whole lot of love.

We had a customer today come around 2pm. They ordered 2 orders of deep fried pickles and a hotdog. Unfortunately we forgot to ask for our pager back. If you see this could you shoot us a message to return the pager! Thank you!!!

Good morning, everyone!

Big Dog Diner will be closed today due to a family matter. We’ll be back open tomorrow!

We sincerely apologize for the sporadic closures lately and any inconvenience they may have caused. This should be our last unexpected closure for a while.

We get asked quite often about vegetarian options and different ethnic offerings, and we listened.

Starting Friday Oct 14th We’ll be testing what we think might be the best samosas in Paris!

We’ve sourced authentic, handmade vegetable samosas from our neighbours in nearby Kitchener, Ontario. Keeping with our commitment to supporting local businesses whenever possible!

They’re traditionally made, generously filled, and pack a nice medium kick of spice and of course meat free.

This is a test item, so quantities are limited!
We have just 40 servings available, and each serving includes:

2 large vegetable samosas and your choice of tamarind-date or tangy mango chutney dipping sauce for a reasonable price $6.00 taxes included.

We’re excited to hear what everyone thinks! Please be brutally honest! If they’re are a hit they’ll be a permanent addition to our menu.

Hope everybody had a safe and amazing Thanksgiving and was able to spend some time with family and friends!

Now that we’re back to reality and back to work 🙄, I just wanted to remind everybody that while you’re enjoying your hot turkey sandwiches, Big Dog Diner’s hand-cut French fries are a pretty perfect pairing!

And there’s always that one person who’s had enough turkey for a while, so why not grab them a freshly made burger instead. Perfectly charbroiled, 100% beef no fillers with only the freshest ingredients 🤤🤤

Due to recent events, we’ve made the decision to close Big Dog Diner on Sunday, October 11th and Monday, October 12th to spend some much-needed time with our family and loved ones.

Thanksgiving is a time to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the things that matter most. And after all, what could we possibly be more thankful for than our family?

Personally, I know just how thankful I am for my family and friends. When Tianna and I decided to purchase and rebuild Big Dog Diner, our families stood behind us, fully knowing that the restaurant industry is one of the toughest businesses to succeed in. They believed in us, supported us, and helped us turn what was once just an idea into something we’re incredibly proud of.

Without our family and friends, Big Dog Diner wouldn’t be what it is today. And for that, we will always be grateful.

Sometimes life has a way of reminding us just how precious time with the people we love really is. This Thanksgiving, we’re taking that reminder to heart and choosing to put family first.

Thank you all for your continued support, and for being part of the Big Dog Diner family.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our first Cars & Coffee event and helped make it such a great morning. ❤️

Between breakfast, coffee, donations and our staff who graciously donated there tips for the day, we were able to raise $982.63 for the Thyroid Foundation of Canada.

Big Dog Diner will be topping that amount up to an even $1,000.

We truly appreciate everyone who came out to support the event and this important cause we will be doing this again annually on the last Sunday of September. We will be better staffed and more organized next time we apologize to anyone who may have experienced a long wait.
