Hampton Farms An idyllic little hobby farm in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia (not Australia or England or Ontario!).

Big crop of again this year. We enjoyed doing the U-pick last year and are doing it again. Our field is now several years . It's by appointment only. All you can hand-pick for $10 per adult (children are free if accompanied by an adult). If you are raking, instead of hand-picking, it's $20 for all you can rake. Inbox for an appointment, please.

Always an exquisite variety of on our in the summer. I'd never heard (or heard of) a Veery before. Also, as you can see, we are graced with (a lot of) swallows again this year. They have a voracious appetite for flying insects.
