Special Guests at Di Salvo’s Today!

Today we had the pleasure of hosting the Brantford Bulldogs for lunch as they made their way home from a big win in Sault Ste. Marie.

After being snowed in with the highway closed since Sunday, the team arrived tired and hungry — but in great spirits. Chef Carlo’s grill was absolutely jam-packed with freshly cut Rib Eye steaks, making sure the boys got the hearty meal they deserved before hitting the road again.

Currently sitting first place in the league, the Bulldogs showed the same class off the ice as they do on it — polite, appreciative, and clearly proud of that big 3 - 0 win.

It was a real pleasure having them with us. Congratulations on the victory and safe travels back to Brantford! 🐾🏒

Today we had some very special guests join us for lunch at Di Salvo’s!

Local superstar Megan Oldham (and her dad Howard, one of our wonderful regulars ❤️) stopped in while back home in Parry Sound ahead of tomorrow’s town celebration in her honour.

Megan is home with her TWO Olympic medals — GOLD and BRONZE! 🥇🥉

She was kind enough to show them to us… and yes… I even got to hold them! 🤩 What an incredible moment.

We are so proud of this talented young woman representing our community on the world stage. Hard work, dedication, and hometown roots — it doesn’t get better than that.
