I have been soo excited and dreading this whole experience from the very start.
i was warned it would be hard I have shed sooooo many tears! I have also been scammed for shipped piggy’s in my search for over two whole years to bring skinny’s back to Ontario 🇨🇦 it’s been a whole journey for sure!And I have met sooo many lovely breeders who helped bring skinny’s back to Ontario in this journey I feel truly blessed 🙏

So..i have good and bad news for those on my
skinny pig waitlist. The good news is we will be filling our list but it might take a little longer than I had hoped.

Over the past two days our beautiful skinny girls had both given birth to their litters and the one mom and pups are doing great!
but the other first time mom lost all three of her pups at birth all still born 😞
won’t lie when I say I cried sooo hard for this mama! But unfortunately it can be common for first time Guinea pig moms 😔

we have been watching her very closely she has been eating and drinking and hoping about the cage and she is even helping nurse the other babies which is a blessing! 🙏❤️
I do have a cavie vet near by aswell if I see anything out of the normal for her.

I have decided that these three babies will be staying for our breeding program to progress and fulfill our waitlist in the upcoming future 🙏

Please be patient and respectful as we grieve at this time, I was warned it would be hard that it’s not like breeding chickens. The loss is real and very much hard.

With life comes loss I just wasent ready yet ❤️
But I’m please to show you the three beautiful souls that came into the world on July 20th
we haven’t yet sexed them yet, I wanted to let them bond with moms and nurse without being bothered so I am hoping to know in the next week or so what genders we got

Again I appreciate everyones patience
and I do apologize for the long wait for our skinny pig list friends 🙏

Thank you for understanding it’s been a ruff few days for sure ❤️
