A sneak peek into our marans genetics coming to you in 2027

It's officially Autumn and I'm falling in love

As the earth prepares itself for a winter rest, we allow our birds the same. Hens get a reprive from the testosterone, daylight hours in the coop decrease to mimic the natural sun, protein gets bumped up in feed to support their molt, and they get extra time outside free-ranging our 5 acres before everything is cold and snowy.

Every year we continue to find ways to make our farm run more smoothly, and I'm so excited to see what next year brings us.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped support our business this year. We can't wait for you to see what we have to offer you in 2027! 🤎🥚

We've been LOVING the dark eggs produced from some of our Forest Eggers this year 🥰

This Pretty lady is named Orchid. She is offspring from one of our olive eggers backcrossed to our marans

Hatched some beautiful quality wellsummer genetics this summer.

Now trying to decide if I phase out breeding ameraucana and focus on a purebred wellsummer coop, or keep the welssumer only for speckled olive eggers. Unfortunately a 4th coop isn't an option at current as we are looking to move within the next year
