“Are your cattle grass-fed?”
We get asked this one a lot. And the truth is, like many things in agriculture, marketing has skewed what people think certain labels actually mean.
The truth? All cattle eat grass — or hay. 🌱
Our steers spend their days on diverse, polyculture pastures, grazing a variety of grasses and plants. In the winter, that means hay.
But we also give them additional feed every day.
Why?
Because we want to help them develop muscle, maintain excellent condition and, at the end of the day, produce beef that tastes incredible.
You are what you eat.
We believe in giving our cattle the best of both worlds — diverse forage from our pastures, along with additional feed to help them reach their full potential.
And most importantly, we want to be completely transparent with our customers.
We aren’t interested in using marketing terms to make our beef sound like something it isn’t. We want you to know exactly how we raise our cattle, what they eat and why we do things the way we do.
Good cattle. Good feed. Good land. Better beef. 🥩🌱
