Just as we’re getting ready to harvest the 2026 Ortega, the 2025 has officially sold out!

We hope you had a chance to try it this year, it was a big hit (award-winning, in fact!).

W**e Club members, don’t worry, we’ve held some bottles back for your autumn shipment.

If you’re not a member, you may still be able to find a bottle at one of the fine retail shops that carries our w**es.

Harvest is almost here!

We’ll be kicking off the 2026 harvest on Monday September 21st at Clam Bay Vineyard on Pender, beginning at 9am. We'll continue picking all week, and throughout the following weeks as each variety is ready.

If you’d like to spend some time in the vineyard, help bring in the grapes, and be a part of this year’s vintage, we’d love to have you.

No need to commit to the whole harvest, you can come for part of a day, a full day, or join us for several picking days. No experience necessary.

$20/hour + breakfast pastries, coffee/tea, and lunch provided.

Days are getting shorter and so are our tasting room hours.

For the month of September we will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, from 12pm to 5pm.

We will also be open Monday September 7th for the long weekend.

The first grapes of the 2026 vintage have been pressed!

These are Madeleine Sylvaner grapes, grown by our friends at Zanatta Vineyard over in the Cowichan. A beautifully aromatic, early ripening variety that really keeps us on our toes for the start of crush.

These grapes are destined to become Cucumaria, our deliciously aromatic, off-dry white that made it's debut with the 2025 vintage.

The medals have arrived!

All four of our entries in the Cascadia International W**e Competition received medals! Ortega, Salish Sea, and Intertidal each won silver, while our Blanc de Noir took home bronze.

We're so happy for our w**emaker to recieve this recognition on her first vintage here at Sea Star. Keep up the great work Julia and Adrian, and here’s to what comes next!

Last call for Blanc de Noir!

We’re quickly running out of our 2025 Blanc de Noir in the tasting room.

You may still be able to find a few bottles at select liquor stores, and our w**e club members will have a small allocation available for their fall shipment, but otherwise, it’s almost a wrap on the 2025 vintage.

If you’ve been meaning to grab a bottle (or a few), now’s the time.

We have two more yoga mornings coming up at Sea Star this August 9th & 16th, and there are still a few spaces available.

The weather is looking beautiful, the smoke is clearing from the skies, and we’re looking forward to a couple of peaceful mornings of movement and stretching on the w**ery lawn.

Sunday, August 16th10:30 am — Yoga at the W**ery, Plus the option to stay afterward for a vineyard tour & tasting with our w**emaker.

Come for yoga, stay for a glass of w**e and a little more time among the vines.
