Join us for an intimate back-yard concert as we welcome back the indie-folk duo, Rumour Mill!
Rumour Mill is a west-coast Canadian band headed by multi-instrumentalists & songwriters, Aline Deanna and Anna Katarina, currently residing in beautiful British Columbia.

Their first full-length album, What She Said (October 2023) is inspired by the likes of Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile and First Aid Kit. It is a collection of beautiful, groovy and memorable songs that feature a lush and groovy topography of violin, keys, guitar and mandolin, led by a narrative of iconic harmonies, produced by Murray Pulver (Crash Test Dummies, The Bros. Landreth) and supported by FACTOR’s Juried Sound Recording grant and Creative BC.

With melancholic melodies, soulful harmonies and lyrics that weave the listener through an exploration of timeless themes, these ladies will sweep you off your feet and leave you wanting more!

Tickets $29 per person

🥂 Double Gold… again!

Some things are worth celebrating twice.

We’re beyond excited to share that our 2025 Pét-Nat Cabernet Franc Sparkling has been awarded Double Gold at the All Canadian Wine Championships—making this the second consecutive vintage of this wine to earn Double Gold. 🍾🏅

Crafted in an incredibly small batch, this sparkling has become something truly special. As a Black Market Wine Club exclusive, it’s one of those wines that reflects exactly who we are: small-lot, unexpected, and made without compromise.

A huge congratulations to our talented winemaker, Rob Hammersley, for continuing to raise the bar, and thank you to our Wine Club members whose support allows us to keep creating wines like this.

Some days, the Okanagan does all the talking.

No filter. No editing. Just one of those skies that makes you stop for a moment and appreciate where we get to call home.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, but views like this are a reminder to slow down, look up, and soak it all in.

I’m making some saltimbocca for my father-in-law and some white wine is called for in the recipe I’m using to release the fond from cooking veal, prosciutto
and sage. I knew that anything from Black Market would fit the bill. Decided to go with the Washington-grown Semillon/Sav Blanc.
The saltimbocca turned out great and paired nicely with the U.S. grown, Canadian-made wine.

Aromas of grapefruit, lemon and a slight hint of vanilla on the nose. On the palate more citrus and a bit of dry straw. But the body on this wine makes for a great food wine. Then there’s this complex texture which isn’t what I expect from a Semillon made by Rob Hammersley. His past Semillon creations were more reminiscent of the Old World….and it was a nice touch in the deglaze. So glad we got our hands on some of this wine that we will probably never see again.
