Today we moved Lily and her boys back into the main stall with the rest of the herd. The boys were having a great time exploring. We have also named the boys. The darker boy is Tarragon and the lighter boy is Thyme.
We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-5. Come on over and say hi to all the kids. 🐐😁

We are so impressed with R and C Hoof Trimming. They have been to our farm several times and do such an amazing job with not only all the goats, but also Daisy and Peter (the pigs). And we love that they take special care with any of the animals who need gentle handling (such as our last couple of pregnant goats, Faith our blind goat who has difficulty with her feet now too, Daisy2 who has that injury in her shoulder, etc.). They were out yesterday to trim A LOT of hooves here! Plus some cute photos of the baby goats!

We have some amazing news... we won the Silver award for Best of Penticton: Best Kids Attraction for 2026! Thank you SO MUCH for nominating and voting for us, we are so very honoured and appreciate you all so much! We are up against some very big competition for this award each year as Penticton has so many great places, and it just blows us away that we have won in the top three for this award for 4 years now. Lily had twin boys! She gave us a bit of a scare, as the first boy was born at 9:38pm (May 28/26). He came out breech, but without any problems. Then Lily got up, he nursed a couple times, and she was acting like she was done. She had some molasses water and a banana, but she still looked like there was at least one more baby in there. It wasn't until almost an HOUR later that she started to have a couple more contractions, and then out came baby #2! Again, no problem with his delivery, and he didn't look like he was in any distress having been waiting for a bit to be born... We are so happy that it turned out ok, and Lily and the boys are doing great. However, they are both very loud and full of energy, so Lily will definitely have her hands (hooves) full with these two!

Happy Saturday everyone. Today is a big day for the farm.
We are open from 10-5 for drop-in visits at the farm.
We are also at Red Rooster Winery from 11-2 with some of the kids (including little Sage 😍)

It's "P**p Tuesday" (haha) - which means from 4-7pm on Tuesdays in May, we are open if anyone wants to pick up some amazing well-composted goat manure. You can fill a feed bag, bring your own container, or even your truck for a tractor bucket scoop if you need a bit more... 🚜 (we have easy drive-in access for loading).

**UPDATE** Thank you everyone for the quick responses. I think we have this Saturday covered, and a few people for upcoming events! Stay tuned as we also need some additional help with hauling hay and even for our volunteer program at the farm… we will post soon about these!

🐐 Looking for Event Help at GottaGoat Farm!

We’re looking for 1–2 reliable adults to help us with occasional off-site goat events this spring and summer — including an event this coming weekend (Saturday).

This is paid, casual/temporary work and would be a great fit for someone who:
• is comfortable around animals and people
• can help with loading/unloading goats and fencing
• enjoys interacting with visitors
• is dependable and physically capable
• is interested in learning about our goats and farm

Event days can involve:
• setting up portable fencing
• unloading/loading goats and supplies
• chatting with visitors inside the goat area
• helping keep the experience organized and positive

You must:
• be 19+
• have your own transportation
• be comfortable lifting and working outdoors

Farm or animal experience is helpful, but a positive attitude and reliability are most important.

Lumi's baby boy is doing great, and he has a name now - meet "Sage" (our son picked out his name, since Lumi is kind of his special goat). Plus, we moved Lumi and him back into the stall with all the goats last Thursday. He is SO friendly too... when any people come to visit, he comes right on over 🥰. Dill is also super friendly, and Parsley is a little more shy, but definitely getting better around people.

If you want to meet Sage, Dill and Parsley (our baby goats), we are open for drop-in visits on holiday Monday, May 18, 2026, from 10-5.
