We had R and C Hoof Trimming out last week to trim everyone's feet again. They are so great with all the goats and pigs here (even though we have a couple of challenging ones). And we still can't believe how quickly they are able to get all those hooves trimmed... Thanks you guys!

Just a reminder that we are closed from 1-3pm today (Oct 17) for a private event, but open again at 3pm.

Saturday October 17 - Hours UPDATE: we are closed from 1-3pm this Saturday for a private event. We are still open from 10am-1pm and 3-5pm, and we'd love to have you out for a visit! And if you don't remember our sweet Go-Go (pictured here with her mom, Sierra), she had broken her leg a couple years ago. She is doing good, although she will always walk with a limp. One of our very special goats that you can visit here at the farm.

I can't believe it's been so long since we've posted anything! It has been a busy couple of weeks - both Jeff and I had to go on (separate) trips to Alberta to visit family. Unfortunately we can't go together, as there is just too much to do here for us to both leave the farm. However, Jeff gets back home today (yay!) and we are open for drop-in visits tomorrow (Saturday, Oct 10). Here are some pics of all the changing colours at the farm, and of course some of the animals here ❤. One update to mention too: our little boy, Cinnamon, has a sore leg. He was limping last week, and our vet advised some rest and separation for several days. He seemed to be on the mend, but started to limp again yesterday, so I brought his brother, Nutmeg, in to keep him company. Fingers crossed that he starts getting better soon.

We are open for drop-in visits Thu-Sat this week, but starting October 1, we switch to our Fall/Winter hours: we will be open Mon-Fri by appt. and Sat for drop-in visits until the spring. We have also had two new permanent additions to the farm: Cali and Tahsis. These Nigerian Dwarf girls came from a family who evacuated during the fire in Summerland, but the family decided that they want them to stay here! Cali and Tahsis were born here in 2017, so they are almost 10 yrs old.

The baby boys have realized that they were living with a bunch of girls, so they had to move to the “teenage boy barn.” A little crying today, but they can still see their moms. ❤️

Our baby goat, Thyme, makes the cutest sounds when he nurses. He loves his milk! Make sure to turn up the volume to hear the best sounds ever.

Our door is open! Come for a visit with the goats, and stop in our adorable gift shop while you're here. We are open year-round.

We've been busy! We moved Peter Pig to a new space (right next to his old space), so we got that all set up, and we've got his old space all renovated for moving our "teenage boys" into. We still have 10 baby boys here, and they need a space away from the girls soon (they are a little too small to go in with the "big boys"). We are still open for drop-in farm visits Thur-Sat from 10-5, and we are even open on Labour Day from 10-5 (no appt. needed). Visits are only $10 per person, and under 3 yrs is free.
