McKenzie Farm We are a small family farm employing organic principles. We like connecting with people who take interest in where and how their food is raised and grown.

We are a new farming family living near Balderson, north of Perth, Ontario. Our farming philosophy is to strive to make food we feel confident in for ourselves, and hopefully others will appreciate it too. In 2013 we introduced laying hens and in 2014 we have added beef cattle, meat chickens and turkeys. Our poultry are raised on grass and are given certified organic vegetarian grain feed -- from

Homestead and Bernerland Organics. Our cattle eat forage -- grass in the growing season and hay in the winter -- that we grow ourselves without using any pesticides or artificial fertilizers. In 2015, a big garden for our family is our next goal!
