SOLD OUT! THANK YOU, EVERYONE, WHO BOUGHT OUR BUNS!

Hi everyone! We are once again fund-raising to bring a Syrian family, now living in Lebanon at refugees, to Peterborough to be reunited with their family here. They are in extreme danger right now because they live on the border with Israel, which is bombing that area. We are selling home-made hot cross buns: six buns for $8.50 (or a larger donation). We will be at two craft sales, one on March 9 at the Lions Club in East City (Fierce and Fancy IWD) and one at Grace United Church on March 23. You can also order yours any time by calling 705-748-6251.

Global News Peterborough recently did an interview and video about Kawartha Kurdish Cuisine and the Peterborough Almohamad family which is raising money to bring their relatives from Lebanon.
