Definitely feels like a margarita kinda day...

How to make a Margarita (since today's National Margarita Day!)

1 ½ oz tequila
1 oz orange liqueur (like Cointreau)
1 oz fresh lime juice
2 lime wedges, for garnish
Salt
½ oz simple syrup or agave syrup (optional)

Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled margarita glass and rim outside edge with salt. Fill glass with ice. Pour tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and syrup into ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously then strain into prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. Cheers!

Makes 1 cocktail
