A famous bread across Maharashtra, also has its utmost use and weighed importance in roadside snacks in Mumbai. Yeast leavened refined flour with milk sugar, butter are the ingredients used in it. The bread is arranged in rows while proofing giving it resemblance to floor tiles arrangements( local word Is โ€œladiโ€ hence the name ) and then baked . Its gets a nice brown colour on top whereas the sides remained white coloured as not exposed to heat while baking. The only nourishment is its a good source of carbohydrates.It has found its way in many snacks like Vadapaav, paav bhaji,Missal Paav, dabeli and many more. Its closest resemblance is soft dinner rolls. It has to be eaten fresh as all other breads you would..!!!

Fish Caldin curry
A household favourite fish preparation in Goa. Its a Portuguese influenced fish curry which uses minimal spices and coconut milk as it main ingredient. Fresh coconut is ground with spices like black pepper, cumin, corriander and turmeric and milk is extracted out.Along with onions, tomatoes and tamarind extracted coconut milk is simmered and fish is added to it. Gentle cook and this dish with subtle aromatic flavours is ready to serve with piping hot steamed rice or Goan breads.
The fish here used is red mullet
