Our second (and final) Chaos Case is here, packed with a wild assortment of limited-edition, never-before-released, and hard-to-find c***rs.

No two cases are the same. No guarantees on what you’ll get. Just six bottles of FieldBird chaos. 🌀

Consider this your final chaotic send-off from our online store. We couldn’t think of a better way to go out. ❤️

In the back of the cellar, beyond tirage cages lined with dusty bottles, are a few cases of Chardonnay. I made it from local grapes to explore a new barrel profile and gauge the limits of what the oak could contribute. Chardonnay is good for that.

I forgot about it until Jay opened a bottle he had lying around his house and messaged me to give it a try.

With the online store closing in about a week, now felt like a good time to release the remaining bottles. If you’re interested in seeing how a 2019 barrel fermented Chardonnay held up, you can find it there.

And if you’re a c***ry looking to expand your traditional sparkling program, I’ve got some excellent c***rs en tirage looking for a new home.

Introducing the CHAOS CASE 🍎💥

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and just enough mystery to keep things interesting. 👀

Each case includes 6 mixed bottles of c***r featuring limited editions, old favourites, and never-before-released c***rs that have been hiding away in the cellar. 🤫

There may be a couple different ways to get chaotic… but we’re not giving away all the details just yet. 😉

I’m closing Fieldbird. Lee asked if I felt bittersweet. I’ve been pouring through that in my mind all afternoon.

On this farm we’ve replenished wild hedgerows. We’ve repopulated swarms of meadowlarks. We’ve rebuilt an 80 year old tractor and given it new work.

And from this farm we’ve carved c***rs full of life. Expressions not only of this place, but of us in it.

And then we shared our c***rs, and our stories, with each of you.

So how do I feel? Just sweet.

Our online store is open until August 31, with case sales to help our remaining bottles find loving homes.
