GROWN TO GIVE 💐 week 2! Nominations are now open and a random winner will be selected Friday Sept 4th and arrangements will be made with the winner/nominee for pick up at the farm ❤️

There is no purchase necessary, this initiative is just about spreading a little joy within our community!

The first randomly selected winner of our initiative is picking up her arrangement today to deliver to her nominee ❤️ I will post the colour version of it once delivered. (Vase not included).

We had over 60 nominations this past week which made my cheeks hurt I was so excited about! Week 2 will open shortly.

💐GROWN TO GIVE 💐

This has been in my heart for awhile and I am thrilled to officially launch our Grown To Give weekly bouquet.

The premise is quite simple. Each week on Sunday I will make a post inviting you to nominate someone who deserves a beautiful fresh picked bunch of flowers from our field. You can comment their name or send me a DM/PM. I will randomly pick one person Friday and get in touch with the nominator to make arrangements for either the nominator or nominee to pick up at the farm over the weekend.

It is my sincere hope that this little iniative spreads some joy ❤️.

Cut Your Own is opening this Thursday August 20th from 4pm-dusk. We will be open Thursday-Sunday each week till frost from 4pm-dusk. No reservation needed, just come!

If there is a time you’d like to come outside of those times, please send me a message and I will be happy to try and accommodate ❤️

A few details:
💐cost is $35 per bouquet (approx 20-25 stems, a vase 6 inch opening or less full)
💐if you need a vase I have them for sale for an additional $5 or you can bring your own for free.
We can also send your bouquet home wrapped
💐I will provide garden shears for you
💐it’s a field so please wear proper footwear!
💐we live on a working farm and have kids so there are farming things and kid things around the yard. That being said… if you have kids there is kid toys to keep them busy!
💐what will you find in the field? 1100 + dahlia plants with approx 300 different varieties, zinnias, lisianthus, strawflower, gomphrena, scabiosa, celosia, statice, asters and likely others that I am forgetting. Flowers selection subject to change based on what’s in season but dahlias will be the star of the show till frost!

Picking and arranging may only be a small part of being a flower farmer but my goodness…it makes all the other less glamours stuff well worth it!

It’s taken its sweet time to get here but ranunculus season is beginning! I describe these beauties as looking like tissue paper wrapped around and around. And their vase life is usually quite remarkable!
