No one is more shocked than I am that I am cutting bouquets tonight! Mother Nature is wild sometimes 😁🫣

I am going to have bouquets stocked at Foodland picton tomorrow (Thursday) morning and Laundrys TBA (likely friday!).

The weather is looking like we may get a hard frost Friday night so let’s enjoy while we can!

Post Frost Update!
We survived ish! It was patchy and affected some blooms but all is not lost! ❤️

What does this mean?
-We working diligently to cut flowers to bring to Laundry’s and Foodland in Picton. They and you as our customers have been incredible supporters of us all season long and we are so thankful! You can find our blooms at both Laundrys and Foodland Picton while quantities last. It’s pretty incredible to watch the field do its thing and continue to push out beautiful blooms in the days since Monday night.

-Cut your own is closed for this weekend. We may be able to reopen next week and run until our next frost 🤞 (I’ll post more in the coming days about that).

We hope that whatever your plans for the weekend, you have plenty to thankful for.

And a special thank you to all our front line workers, EMS, fire, police, hospital staff that will be working this weekend! We appreciate you!

We are open for cut your own, the stand has jumbo bouquets on it for sale and the boys have harvested some of their decorative gourds and they are for sale at the road side too!

Sometimes I think the universe knows just what our community needs. Our week 5 GROWN TO GIVE 💐 selection brought a tear to my eye. My mom was tasked with picking the our winner this week. I wrote all the names and nominations on pieces of paper, folded them up and put them in a bowl. This is the name my mom selected. Megan nominated the Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville after the terrible events that unfolded there last weekend.

This one is going to take a bit of work as I am not sure if services are being held currently and if they are, where they are being held. If anyone has a contact or is a member of the congregation please reach out. We will make a GROWN TO GIVE 💐 bouquet delivery happen ❤️

GROWN TO GIVE 💐 week 4 bouquet was delayed but it did go out to its recipient. I thought I had kicked this cold rhat had me down and out last week but apparently it’s decided to rear its head now as a double ear infection. 🤦‍♀️. You know it’s Sept for the flower farmer when all cares (it wasn’t super high to start with let’s be honest) about fashion and what your wearing in the garden have disappeared and you just wave to the cars going by like it’s perfectly normal attire 😁🙃. Crocs have been a summer garden staple, the hair wrapped in a towel is a new one 🤷🏻‍♀️.

The end of the 2026 season will be here before we know it but I’m going to enjoy every last minute of it before it’s gone! Goal is to get past thanksgiving weekend 🤞

Grown to Give week 4 update. I know I am late but I haven’t ventured far as the kids have shared lovely germs with me that have kicked my butt lol. I have reached out to the nominator for week 4 and we have agreed to wait until I felt a bit better before making the arrangement but I will post once it’s been made. Week 5 nominations will go live this evening.
