Bingi’s BBQ was started as a food vending business, doing catering and events in and around Prince Edward County in the summer of 2015. After the first season Bingi(Franklin Bailey) received a number of messages on the page for Bingi’s BBQ asking if he had a location where people could pick up his great tasting BBQ. Bingi happily accepted and opened on May1st 2016 at 12699 Loyalist pa
rkway, with his ‘Big Smoke’ smoker (a reclaimed oil tank),A folding table and chair. He had also got a fridge and freezer that he paid for within 2 weeks of opening, with a outdoor sink he past the health inspection and was now in full swing. After one month he bought a canopy to cover himself from the heat of the sun. This spot quickly became the go to place for amazing roadside BBQ severing Apple wood smoked Pork ribs and chicken with sides. By the end of the 2016 season Bingi had the opportunity to move indoors at the same location 12699 Loyalist parkway. Now Bingi was getting new messages on Facebook that he should have another spot on the other side of the county so this give him the idea of another roadside BBQ stand ,But where?.....
Cherry Valley has always been a special place for Bingi and being that it is on the way to the beaches would make a perfect 2nd location. After meeting with Melanie Machado of Stowaway Vintage the agreement was made and grand opening date set
With a full menu Bingi will be operating one of his custom build smokers and wood grill in Cherry Valley 6 days a week 12pm-7pm
