BOTTLE DEPOT What can I return to the bottle depot?: Any empty beverage container sold in Alberta that carry a deposit are able to be returned! If you are unsure, just ask! Do I need to sort my own containers?: No! Our staff will gladly sort out your bags/boxes for you. Just bring in your empty containers and we'll do the rest! If you would like an extra-speedy visit, you can pre-sort your containers by type into separate bags. I.E small plastic bottles in one bag, aluminum cans in one bag, glass put into boxes, etc. Caps only need to be removed from GLASS containers. How much are the deposits for beverage containers?: Any container 1 Litre and under is worth $0.10 and any containers OVER 1 Litre is worth $0.25. I have a large amount of containers to return, do I need to book an appointment?: We greatly appreciate a phone call for any customers looking to bring in a large amount of bottles. If you book an appointment, we are able to better meet your needs and make your visit quick and easy! I'd like to do a bottle drive, what do I need to do?: Give us a call and we'll guide you through the whole process! RECYCLING (AVAILABLE 24/7) What do I do with glass or styrofoam?: We are currently unable to process these materials for recycling and we do not have garbage available. Please dispose of these materials with your own discretion. Cardboard: Any household cardboard accepted. Large boxes accepted if flattened to size. No cardboard accepted if: wax coated, wood attached, or any material other than cardboard! Plastic: Solid, all-plastic containers are accepted. No mixed materials accepted, such as toys, tools, and fixtures as they often contain metal, wood, screws, etc. Plastic Bags: Plastic bags only. No twine or bale wrap. Tin: Tin and aluminum cans accepted. Paper coverings must be removed. Please refrain from putting in mixed materials. Paper: Magazines, loose paper, soft covered books and shredded paper accepted. No hardcover books.
