And.. that’s a wrap on our 2025 blueberry season! ✨

Unfortunately the fruit quality declined across the board for our Elliott and Aurora at all of our fields, so our stands are closing a couple of days earlier than expected. The hot and muggy conditions sadly haven’t done our late season varieties any favors and we won’t pack fruit for our stands that doesn’t meet our quality standards.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports our family and our farm! We are genuinely grateful for each and every one of you, and being able to provide blueberries directly to so many lovely individuals and families is one of the most rewarding parts of farming for us. Farming is so much more than just growing crops, it’s growing to build community and bring connection back to the food we nourish ourselves with.

See you all again early July of next year!

We will be closed tomorrow!

We are now sold out of our Calypso for the season and our plan was to transition into the second pick of Aurora today, however the fruit quality at that field was much poorer than expected and we don’t feel good about packing it for our stands. We are pivoting to our other Aurora field tomorrow to try there and we hope to be back open on Saturday for our final weekend!

Thank you for your understanding!

As our season slowly comes to an end, Calypso is making a return for its third and final pick!

You all have shown so much love for this variety! It’s looking and tasting great for its last pick of the year, and Calypso is the perfect variety to grab several boxes of to load up your fridge and freezer due to its long shelf-life. As this third pick is slightly lighter than previous ones, we cannot guarantee how long we will have them for, especially with increased demand, so we recommend making the trip to the farm sooner rather than later if you are specifically after this variety!

🕐 Open daily 10am-6pm (last day will most likely be Sunday, Sept 7)

Our late-season varieties Elliott and Aurora are here at our stands! We will be bouncing back and forth between the two varieties in our harvest, so either one, or both, may be available at a given time. Both varieties are packed with a blend of sweet and sour flavors. The Elliott are a long-time favorite for baking as the tartness offsets added sugar so well. The level of antioxidants is higher in these tarter varieties, making them an excellent choice for those who want those added health benefits.

We are hopeful to have fresh blueberries available through early-September, and Calypso will likely be back right around the end of the month for its final pick!

Calypso is back at our stands throughout this week for its second pick and we have limited amounts of Bluecrop remaining as well!

Come beat the heat with some nice and cool blueberry boxes! We chill our berries as soon as they come in from the field right up until you pick them up to maintain their quality — blueberries are a perishable fruit, so it’s a very important step! And it’s just a bonus to hold the cold box on the way home on these warm days. 😉

*Only pre-picked boxes are available, unfortunately no U-Pick! *

We are in a transitionary time with our picking over this weekend as we are finishing up some picks of our Valor, Calypso, and Bluecrop! We unfortunately cannot guarantee availability for any specific variety at the moment, but we can guarantee that each one is wonderful and flavorful.

Nothing better than a long weekend with some Calypso in the fridge! 😉

We will still be offering the first pick of our Calypso at the stands for a few more days and will likely have the second pick of our Valor available within the next couple of days. Both varieties are looking and tasting great, and we think they make quite the dynamic duo.

The highly-awaited Calypso is here!

Calypso has only been in production for us for a few years, but it has quickly grown to be a favorite variety around the farm. It’s a firm, sweet berry that is usually quite large in size and holds up very well in the fridge long term. Calypso was developed through selective cross-breeding at Michigan State University by crossing Elliott with a variety called Draper that is renowned for its firmness.

We’ll have our first pick of Calypso around this week, and keep a look out for the second pick of Valor to return to the stands later this week or around the weekend.

Bluecrop is here!

If you’re looking for a variety that has stood the test of time, this is your blueberry. Bluecrop is beloved for its sweet, candy-like flavor and for how excellent it is as a freezer berry. It’s naturally a bit softer than some of our other varieties, meaning it has a slightly shorter shelf-life and is more sensitive to harvesting and handling. It holds its flavor very well when frozen, making it a must have in your freezer. The quality for this variety is quite sensitive so we can’t guarantee how long we will have it for, but it will be available at least through this weekend.

We are offering bulk discounts for our Bluecrop! Buy 30 pounds or more and get each 10 lb box for $25.
