Blueberry mole? Yes, you read that right 🫐🌶️

We took our Twinberry blueberries somewhere they've never been before - into a rich, smoky mole! This is a sauce made from dried New Mexico chiles, broth, dark chocolate and warm spices, simmered until silky… then a whole cup of our sweet blueberries stirred right in to balance all that heat with a little fruity brightness.

Spooned over tender chicken and a pile of fluffy rice, it's the kind of dinner that feels like a big warm hug. Bold, a little sweet, a little spicy, and 100% Twinberry.

Who's trying a blueberry mole this week? Tag us if you do!

We cracked one of ours next to one of the leading brand's eggs and the photo pretty much speaks for itself. 🍳🫶

Same pan. Same heat. Same minute. Left: a pale, standard yellow yolk. Right: a deep orange-amber yolk from our Farm Fresh Brown Eggs at Twinberry Farms.

Both eggs say "free range" on the carton. The difference is in how the hens actually live. Our hens get real pasture, real forage, and lots of room to roam - and you can see it in the colour of the yolk, every single time.

🛒 Now available at the farm stand:

It's officially clafoutis season 🫐✨

This rustic French dessert is basically a custard-cake that lets summer berries do all the talking. Chef John's version is one of our favourites - the batter is just six simple ingredients whizzed smooth in a blender, poured over a full pint of blueberries, and baked until puffed and golden. 25 to 30 minutes at 425°F and you've got dessert.

The best part? The berries stay whole and burst with sweet juice in every single bite. That's exactly what our Twinberry Farms' blueberries are made for.

Grab blueberries and eggs at the farm stand and give it a try!

Berry season means one thing around here: dessert ideas for days 🫐🍓🥧

We've been scrolling through this roundup of berry desserts and let's just say…our blueberries called and want to star in ALL of them.

The list is packed with classics - but here are the ones we're eyeing for our Twinberry berries:

💙 Blueberry Ice Cream - cool, creamy, and no churner needed
💙 Blueberry Buckle - tender cake with a crumbly top and berries galore
💙 Blueberry Cheesecake - rich, tangy, and gorgeous for a summer table
💙 Berry Cobbler - warm berries under a biscuity topping.

Enough said. If you're a strawberry fan, there's plenty to love too - and a good farm-stand strawberry shortcake never hurt anybody. Just sayin' 😉

Bring home a basket of freshly-picked Twinberry blueberries and turn them into something sweet this weekend 🥰

It's officially ice cream weather 💜

We found the easiest way to use up a big bowl of Twinberry blueberries - no ice cream machine required! This Blueberry No-Churn Ice Cream is ultra-creamy, packed with real berry flavour (a blueberry sauce and whole berries folded right in), and comes together in a few simple steps.

The recipe only needs a handful of ingredients: fresh blueberries, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, a little sugar and lemon juice. Whip, fold, freeze for 5 hours, and you've got a scoop that tastes like summer in BC.

Grab a basket of our fresh blueberries at the farm stand and give it a try. 🫐
