Tomorrow, we’ll be filling it with some of our favourite Ho**er & Brown provisions and one lucky person will get to take the whole thing home, cooler included!

It’s our first birthday, and we figured this would be another fun way to say thank you for an incredible first year.

Come celebrate with us tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th. We’ll have lunch, coffee, a few snacks, and of course, the draw!

Getting ready for Saturday! 🔥🥩

Our first birthday is coming up, and we've got something good in the works.

This brisket spent 12 hours in the smoker. Now we're vacuum-packing it and letting it rest for the next two days before warming it up sous vide on Saturday - just in time for lunch!

Good things take time. And we figured our first birthday is a pretty good reason to make something special.

We can't wait to share it with you!

This Saturday we celebrate our First Year in Business just to find out we’ve been named a 2026 finalist for “Start-up Business of the Year” by the members of the Ponoka & District Chamber of Commerce.

What an incredible way to wrap up our first year.

We feel truly honoured by this nomination and grateful to everyone who thought of us.

When we opened our doors a year ago, we had no idea just how much support, encouragement, and kindness we would receive from this community.

To our customers, our friends, and everyone who has been part of this journey - THANK YOU. 🏕️

And to our amazing team, who puts so much heart and hard work into Ho**er & Brown every single day - WE WOULDN’T BE HERE WITHOUT YOU. 🏔️

🥨 SAUSAGE OF THE MONTH - OCTOBER 🇩🇪

It’s Oktoberfest time, so for October we’re bringing another traditional German sausage to our Explorer’s Choice counter: Weisswurst.

It’s a fully cooked sausage and an easy option when you want something a little different without much work.

Just warm it gently in hot water - don’t boil it. Let it simmer, then cut and peel away the casing.

And if you want to do it the traditional way: grab some pretzels, mustard and a wheat b**r from our friends at Hawk Tail Brewery or Blindman Brewing to go with it. 🥨🍻
