I dont even know where to start on today!
Firstly, excellent news, I did negotiate the baby cow kisses, the babies and I both loved it! Good start to the day. And got the historical story of the property, established in 1350. That is not a typo!

Second, my olive oil tour! Holy Wowzers! My Hosts were just incredible and the history lesson, tasting and shopping experience were outstanding. I also made 2 new fluffy friends, Nina the dog who loved that smelt like baby cows and Luna the kitten who I almost brought with me. I learned a lot here, and then shipped 7l of the good stuff home.

Then there was driving.🤬👹😫. Nuff said, although I squeezed in a bonus seaside stop as I gave myself so much driving time!
Next up, my winery/olive tasting/walk of a boutique farm in Caravigno. My lovley host, Giancarlo is clearly a genius and paired his stunning wines with his specialty olive oil. My goodness, 6 wines and I adored every single one (that's not like me)... so I shipped those home too.

Driving back to the accommodation I had abandoned earlier in the day was much easier during Siesta time (duly bloomin' noted!). I knew it was going to be pretty, but my goodness, it exceeded expectations. I asked if it was a castle and my sweet host looked at me like, no silly it's an ancient convent! My bad!
All checked in and rebooting for dinner, seriously craving meat tonight, so headed for local style grill shortly.
