Look what I found in my garden today! Covered in maple leaves. I peeled it and am enjoying raw turnip sticks with my lunch. Sweet!

Well folks, this is it. I want to let you know that I will not be operating the vegetable stand this year. My husband and partner passed away in January and I just can’t do it alone. I still want to grow my flowers and will have rhubarb and asparagus in season. So far I haven’t decided on anything else . I will keep you posted as my plans develop. What I will miss most is you, the customers. We had some great conversations and made some lasting friendships. Thank you. (I am going to spend more time with that load in the wheelbarrow.)

Bouquets of dahlias are available today inside the building. Wind keeps blowing them over outside.🙂 $5 per bouquet, jar not included. I can pick lots more in colours you like. If we get frost this weekend, it will be the end.☹️
