Some might say that something good comes from even the deepest of tragedies. I hope that the good from the senseless murder of my friend Charlie is that people learn that it is okay to stand up for their beliefs. It's okay to disagree and have meaningful conversation and debate. Some also might say that I'm crazy for putting things on my sign that are "controversial". Here's the thing...there may come a point in your life when you truly don't care what people think of you. I have reached that point and let me tell you that is when you know that you are truly free. It is a wonderful feeling when your convictions and your personal truths are stronger than the opinion of others. Stand up folks. It's okay to do so. There are more people on your side than you know. I know what was in Charlie's heart and I absolutely know what is in mine.
